Curriculum
While the curriculum process is structured and consistent, the content each year is dynamic in order to meet the interests and needs of each student group. Tutors tend to be professionals in their fields with an interest in young people, who are brought in as requested to address student interests. In this way, all the experiences offered to the students are current and meaningful, presented by people with a personal and practical knowledge of the subject. Courses are presented in a variety of formats, such as thematic blocks of several weeks’ duration, regular afternoon weekly meetings or full day seminars. All courses are conducted in a spirit of participation, and include practical and investigative learning, where first hand experience brings relevance to academic work. All experience is contextual, nothing is contrived.
