The Two-Year Programme - for students from age 16
Integrated into each year are major themes that link together the whole programme, leading on to independent study in year two.
Mixed Age Groups
Students benefit from the integration of mixed age peer groups as it
enhances the quality of learning. Not only does this result in the
achievement of greater levels of co-operation but also encourages a
greater sense of individual and collective responsibility.
Project Based Learning
Thematic Subjects are enlivened with a cross-curricular approach
integrating the practical with the academic, sciences and the arts.
Experiential Education
Rough Science and Thematic Projects interrelate practical and
investigative learning, bringing more relevance to academic work as
it can be greatly enhanced by first hand experiences.
The Independent Study Year - for students age 18-22
We are piloting this new course starting September 08 for students who wish to negotiate their own research study around their interests or future goals. Students submit a proposal for their Independent Year Study and supporting programme. This course can also be in conjunction with a Performing Arts component for those who are interested - please contact us for more details.
