First Year Subjects

• Poetry writing/dramatic mask making
• Computer technology, video editing, binary mathematics & drama
• ‘Green’ Work Experience – or Student’s choice
• Storytelling on the theme of Parsival with painting
• Comparative Religion Study & Survival skill as preparation for Sinai Desert
• Middle East History in connection with Sinai Desert Journey
• 10 day Sinai Journey – building irrigation dam with Bedouin hosts
• Inner city community project – building related
• Projective Geometry and movement/eurythmy
• Photography & the geometry of light – Making a camera
• Media studies – producing student magazine
• Green Woodwork – making a green wood chair
• Life Drawing with physiology in clay
• Exhibition design, set up, organising & presenting Year Projects

First and Second Year Subjects

• Environmental science project camp & field work
• Drama (Improvisation) & performance of major production
• Science with philosophy
• Rough Science. Building a workshop for iron forging

Second Year Subjects

• Major Independent year study in a chosen field
• Philosophy with Art
• Music – world music practical with history
• Architecture, Eco design & Structure with field trips
• 2 week Vision Quest to Spain – with 3 day & night wilderness fast

• Crafts in rotation: Photography, Sculpture, Silver Jewellery, Stained Glass & Design, Technology, Pottery, Musical Instrument Making
• Weekly review: process and presentation skills

There is a strong emphasis on inter-related projects which draw together related studies in the sciences & arts.
